Abstract

A display table is provided with detachable posts to support partitions 3, each post having at least two identical channels a of U-section disposed such that the flange d of one channel a is formed in part by the base of the other channel a and is provided at or adjacent its free end with an out-turned lip e co-operating with a further lip e formed on a flange d of the other channel to define a slideway which receives an upstanding lug m of a table mounted part. The lug m may have a depending portion (h, k), (Figs. 1, 2) which engages a slot (g) in a socket member (f) fitted flush in the table top. Alternatively (Figs. 3, 4), the lug m may be carried by a laterally open channel portion with a tapped hole (v) to receive a clamping screw (n) for securing to an edge of the table.
