Abstract

107,851. Taylor, J. R. Aug. 10, 1916. Locking nuts. - The nut is made in two parts, one of which has a spigot B which enters a socket A in the other. A packing C, made of hemp, asbestos or the like, or of a metal such as lead, is placed in the socket to increase the lock. The packing adjacent the end of the spigot is lubricated with oil or blacklead.
