Abstract

1,076,710. Nursing bottle assembly. S. Y. HAMANAKA. Oct. 8, 1965, No. 42801/65. Heading ASX. [Also in Division B8] A nursing bottle assembly as illustrated with reference to Fig. 6, comprises a bottle 1, a cap, and a nipple 6. The nipple having a discharge opening adapted to be closed by atmospheric pressure when feeding is not taking place (preferably with crossed slits 8). The cap including a base having means on one side thereof for securing the cap to the bottle, and having an upwardly extending portion 4 on the other side of the base and with the nipple mounted thereon, there being a conduit 5 extending through the base and portion 4 to provide communication between the bottle interior and the nipple interior, and the cap having venting means (groove A) providing open communication between the nipple interior and the ambient atmosphere.
