Abstract

[Also in Division F2] A hooking and unhooking arrangement for a ski-lift comprises a personal hook 12, Fig. 1, and an unhooking device 110, Fig. 5. The hook 12 is formed from two discs 14a and 14b secured to a plate 13, each defining with the plate a V-groove to trap a lift traction rope. The plate 13 has an arm 16 to which a flexible cord is secured which can be looped around a skistick. The unhooking device is associated with a chassis of the lift traction motor and comprises a conical spring 110 mounted in a collar 109 through which the traction rope is threaded. Collar 109 is secured to an arm 105 which is pivoted to the chassis at 106. When the hook reaches the device 110, the spring enters the V-groove and the arm pivots to release the hook.
