Abstract

1,075,850. Printing-machines. P. T. NOACK. Sept. 3. 1965 [Sept. 9, 1964], No. 37846/65. Heading B6C. Highly absorbent paper sheets 14 are fed from a stack by a feed roller 13 against a stop 15, and, when the stop is lowered, to take-up rollers 18 and between a stencil printing drum 19 and impression roller 20, and while a sheet is slightly buckled against the stop, heated air is blown on to it by a nozzle 11 inclined 15 degrees rearwardly of vertical, or a pair of such nozzles also directed inwardly, to remove loose sheets or particles of paper adhering to the sheet. The warm air also improves drying of the ink after printing.
