Abstract

1,075,346. Sanitary mask. MARTINDALE ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. (Martindale Electric Co.), May 19, 1965 [June 23, 1964], No. 25979/64. Heading A5T. A supporting plate 1 for a sanitary mask is formed with at least one tab 5 projecting from its periphery, the tab being deformable so that it can be bent inwards towards the plate to grip a pad of filtering medium, the part of the tab which when bent lies adjacent to the plate and/or the adjacent part of the plate being formed as a rough surface 6 so as to grip the filtering medium and hold same against lateral movement. The rough surface may be formed by punching a hole.
