Abstract

1,075,312. Vehicle tyres. FAGERSTA BRUKS A.B. Feb. 2, 1965 [Feb. 11, 1964], No. 4483/65. Heading B7C. In a tyre whose tread is provided with studs 2, each stud is at least partly surrounded by one or more incisions 6a of depth less than the stud length whereby the tread rubber adjacent the free end of the stud may move therewith. The incisions may take the form of slits (i.e. no material removed) or slots, and are preferably annular. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 987,745.
