A device for delivering measured quantities of liquid from inverted bottles or like containers comprises a measuring chamber and an axiallymovable operating member, the device being provided with an inlet tube 1 fitted with a separator plate 2 dividing the bore of the tube into air and liquid flow conduits which have their entrances 6 enlarged by means of chamfering the end of the inlet tube. The tube and separator plate may be moulded in one piece with a member 3, or, alternatively, the separator plate may be fitted separately in slots provided in the bore of the tube, projections (2b, Fig. 3) being provided in order to retain the plate. A sealing cork 7 is secured to the tube by means of ribs 8.
