Abstract

1,069,393. Mirror mountings. PEARCE & CUTLER Ltd. March 23, 1966 [May 14, 1965], No. 20391/65. Heading A4X. A hardboard backing element (11) is secured to a mirror by strips (12) of tape having a pressure sensitive adhesive on both sides and disposed between the hardboard and the mirror. Trim strips of J-section comprising an inner layer of cellulose acetate-butyrate plastic, an intermediate layer of aluminium foil and an outer layer of transparent or translucent plastic grip the edges of the mirror. An inturned lip on the trim strip is located in a groove in the backing element (11).
