A differentiator or integrator comprises an inductor or capacitor 6 alternately switched from input terminals 1, 2 to a further inductor or capacitor 5, the switching rate being adjustable so as to adjust the effective time constant of the circuit. Output terminals 3, 4 are connected as shown for differentiation, or across 5 when used as an integrator. Electronic switches may be employed.
