In a flexible torque-transmission coupling wherein a driving element 1, e.g. an I.C. engine having a flywheel 2, is connected, by a flexible coupling 3, 3A, 3B of known type, e.g. as described in Specification 885,069, to a driven element 5 a plurality of hydraulic shock-absorbers 4 of the lever operated, twin cylinder, type are equi-angularly spaced around the coupling axis and are connected, either between the driving and driven components 3A, 3B of the coupling or, between the driving element 1 and the coupling driven component 3B. The shockabsorbers are preferably of the kind described in Specification 517,109.
