Abstract

1,065,710. Wall or ceiling linings. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL Ltd. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 2, 1963], No. 29103/66. Divided out of 1,064,521. Heading E1W. In a wall or ceiling lining channel sectioned lamellae 6 having profiled rims 9 co-operate with connecting elements 7 formed with tongues 10, 11, 12, the tongue 12 being engaged within a slot 5 in the wall of a channel shaped stringer 1 and the tongues 10, 11 engaging a flange 2 on the opposite wall of the stringer 1. The tongue 12 may have deformable means 13 serving to lock the tongue within the slot 5. The connecting element has curved edges 8 which engage within the curved rims 9 of the lamellae 6. In a modification, Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown), the connecting element is designed so that its main body portion engages the flat area of the lamellae,
