Abstract

1,065,486. Cooling car tyres. I. BIANCHIMINA. July 12, 1965 [July 10, 1964], No. 29401/65. Heading A4T. [Also in Division B7] Apparatus for cooling car tyres comprises two small basins placed at road level and having shoot-shaped ends to admit car wheels, each basin having transverse rollers 4 to support the car wheels and cause them to rotate while jets of cooling water are sprayed on the tyres through nozzles 12. Water is withdrawn from the basins and filtered before re-circulation and an acoustic or visual signal indicates that cooling has occurred.
