Abstract

1,062,894. Article carrying chains. BAIRD & TATLOCK (LONDON) Ltd. Sept. 3, 1963 [Oct. 26, 1962], No. 40596/62. Heading F2Q. [Also in Division E2] Means for use in assembling together a plurality of containers to constitute a flexible belt comprises a spring clip formation 7 for at least partially embracing a cylindrical part of a container and a pair of interconnecting devices 9, 10 each device having a first element 15 and a second element 17 the first elements being capable respectively of removably interengaging with the second elements of corresponding devices of a similar means to constitute hinge connections therewith the means being formed integrally from a single piece of spring wire the end parts of which constitute said devices. In the construction shown there are two formations each of which consists of a helical turn of the wire and each of the devices extends chordally across the formation to which it is connected to constitute spring holding means for the cylindrical part of a container held therein.
