Abstract

A fungicidal composition comprises a compound of the general formula:- <FORM:1057704/A5-A6/1> in which X and Y are the same or different and represent a -H, -F, -Cl or -Br atom, and in which each of the benzene nuclei is unsubstituted or is substituted by up to three electronegative substituents, which may be the same or different, these substituents being -F, -Cl, -Br, -NO2 together with a solid carrier or an aqueous medium in which the active constituent is dispersed. The compositions are preferably in the form of emulsions obtained from dispersions of wettable powders. The compositions may be applied to wood, plants or textiles.
