Abstract
1,056,088. Amplifiers. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. July 30, 1965, No. 32849/65. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G4] The output of a piezo-electric crystal 17, Fig. 3, is amplified by an electrometer valve V 1 and then coupled via an emitter follower T 6 and a transformer TR2 to a two-stage T 1 , T 2 amplifier, Fig. 4, and then via a full-wave rectifier to a Darlington pair T 4 , T 5 . The circuit forms part of a vibratory damping measuring system in which cycles of oscillations taken from stage T, are counted for the period during which the rectified output from the Darlington pair lies between two pre-set levels.
