Abstract

Curable compositions comprise (A) a liquid epoxy resin, (B) a fatty acid based, amino-group containing curing agent, and (C) a phenolic modified coumarone-indene resin, the curing agent (B) being present in an amount sufficient to fully cure the epoxy resin. Curing agents specified are amino-amides, amino-polyamides, amino-imidazolines, imino-linked polyamide-polyimidazolines and mono-fatty alkyl substituted dialkylenetriamines. The compositions may also contain solvents and pigments, and they are useful as coating compositions.
