Abstract

1,055,440. Discharging liquids under pressure. VALVE CORPORATION OF AMERICA Oct. 21, 1963, No.41474/63. Heading F1R. An aerosol push button 16 is slidably mounted within a tubular body 14 and the top surface 18 of the button is flush with the top edge of the body over a part of its circumference. The surface 18 is sloped to facilitate engagement by a finger of the user. In manufacture, the button 16 and body 14 are moulded together and joined by frangible webs 20 Fig. 3, (not shown), the webs being broken when the aerosol is first used. The button is removable from the valve stem 42 upwardly through the body.
