1,051,705. Delivering measured quantities of liquid. N. E. EDMISTON. Oct. 2, 1965, No. 41906/65. Heading B8N. A dispensing closure for dispensing a predetermined quantity of liquid from a container 13 comprises a measuring chamber 14 formed in a cap 10 screwed to the neck of the container and a passage 12 communicating the interior of the container with the chamber such that after inversion of the container and return to the upright position a measured quantity of liquid is trapped in the chamber. A cup 11 may be screwed on to the cap so that when the liquid is trapped in the chamber as shown in Fig. 3, the cap is removed from the container and tilted so that the liquid drains into the cup, the cap then being removed from the cup; graduations may be provided on the cup.
