Abstract
Tampon applicators comprise two tubes of fibrous material (e.g paper, paperboard, or cardboard) slidable with respect to one another, said material being impregnated with a cationic, anionic or nonionic wetting agent. The fibrous material may be impregnated with a condensate of nonyl phenol with ethylene oxide and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide as antiseptic.ALSO:Cationic, anionic or non-ionic wetting agents are incorporated into paper, paperboard or cardboard during the manufacture thereof. The agents which are specified are a condensate of nonyl phenol with ethylene oxide and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide.
