Abstract

1049265 Counters KING-SEELEY THERMOS CO 2 March 1965 [9 April 1964] 8934/65 Headings G1K and K8 Correct assembly of a cyclometer counter such as an odometer, is ensured by a rod 150 of triangular cross-section on which are threaded the drive-wheel 34, numeral wheels such as 22, frame spacing members 40 and transfer pinions 54. When assembly is complete and an end closure plate 160 Fig. 6 (not shown) has been added the rod 150 is withdrawn. The transfer pinions are then held in working position between the end of slot 52 in the frame member 40 and the internal teeth of the numeral wheels concerned. The frame members 40 facilitate mounting in a speedometer.
