Carbon papers, means for manipulating.-In a manifold book of the kind having folding sheets 2 and a carbon leaf 5 joined together at an edge 3, the carbon leaf is provided with elastic or stiffening- members 7 secured in a direction perpendicular to the attached edge 3, to insert the leaf automatically between the folds of the sheet 2. When the sheets 2 are folded in four sections, additional carbon leaves 6, 10 with elastic members 8, 13 may be provided, the leaf 10 being attached along an edge at right-angles to the direction of the folds in the sheet 2.
