1,048,016. Sensitizing silver halide emulsions. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. Aug. 22, 1963 [Sept. 19, 1962], No. 33287/63. Heading G2C. A photographic silver halide emulsion or adjacent layer contains as sensitizer a condensation product of pentaerythritol and 1:2-propylene oxide, having a molecular weight of at least 300. The polymers also reduce brittleness and static in the film. They may be used in conjunction with conventional antifoggants.
