Abstract

A stack of open-topped boxes, arranged with their corner posts 5 superposed, may be completed by a cover 6 extending across the open top of the uppermost box and down the sides of the assembly, the cover being secured to the sides of the boxes. In the embodiment, two wooden boxes are secured together by a corrugated cardboard cover which is stapled to the corner posts 5 and sides 4. Additional slats 8 are placed between pairs of corner posts 5 above the cover member and are nailed down. Hand holes 9 may also be provided in the sides of the cover member.
