1,045,026. Copying using infra-red radiation. W. RITZERFELD and G. RITZERFELD. June 10, 1964 [June 13, 1963], No. 23980/64. Addition to 922, 666. Heading G2C. Copies of original text are produced by bring- ing a layer transfer sheet into contact with a sheet bearing a layer which becomes adhesive on heating, exposing the sheets imagewise to infra-red radiation, allowing them to cool and then separating as in the parent Specification except that polyethylene or polyvinylidene chloride is used as the material which becomes adhesive on heating. The sheet which bears the layer of latently adhesive material may be paper.
