Abstract

104,475. Gilkerson, S. D. Oct. 16, 1916. Stretchers, garment.-A device to receive a coat or the like when not in use is made from a flat blank cut to the contour shown and divided by slits 12 to form a central part and two side wings. Tabs 16 on the wings engage slots 15 in the centre when the sheet is to be expanded to the shape of the body ready for use, and the edges of the wings are also held under tabs 17 cut out of the centre. Bands 21 attached to the neck-piece are folded down to engage slits 23, so that they are then in position to receive the collar of the coat. A slit 25 is provided below to receive an additional garment, and the whole may be suspended by a hole 24 in the neck-piece.
