Abstract

1,044,398. Stands. R. S. WINSER. Sept. 3, 1965 [Sept. 29, 1964], No. 39644/64. Heading A4H. A stand comprises a support 19, e.g. for carrying a display card, having a ball 20 at its lower end, a centrally apertured base member 13, 14 accomodating the stem 11 of a resilient, rubber or like member formed integrally at its upper end with an increased dameter, disc portion 12, and a cover member 17, 18 screwed to the base 13, 14 to hold the ball 20 against the resilient disc. The top of the rod 19 has a slotted ball 22 (Fig. 1, not shown) screwed thereto to hold a card. The two part body comprises a cylindrical block 13 and a flanged disc 14 in face to face, frictional engagement. Slots 21 are provided in the cover 17. The stem 11 may be formed at its lower end with a suction cup 10. Alternatively, the base is screwed to a support through selectively aligned apertures 24, 25 in the block 13 and disc 14.
