Abstract

1,038,399. Feeding sheets. ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY, NARODNI PODNIK. Oct. 19, 1964, No. 42490/64. Heading B6B. Sheets are separated from the top of a pile and fed to forwarding rollers 14, 15 by suction nozzles 8 fixed to a suction tube 7 secured to the end of the longer arms 4<SP>11</SP> of two-armed levers 4 pivoted at 3 to levers 1 oscillated about a shaft 2 by a cam 11, the shorter arms 4<SP>1</SP> of the levers 4 having attached thereto a spring 17 and carrying a roller 5 movable along a fixed guide surface 9. The combined effect of the cam 11 and surface 9 is to cause the nozzles 8 to bend up the edge of the top sheet and then move the sheet forward horizontally into the bite of the rollers 14, 15.
