Abstract

1,035,346. Distribution boxes. ENTREPRISE GENERALE D'INSTALLATIONS ELECTRIQUES. April 22, 1963 [Jan. 11, 1963], No. 15747/63. Heading H2E. Temporary connections are made to power supply conductors in a base member fixed in or on the ground through branch conductors associated with meters, and with switches and fuses as required, mounted in a removable cabinet which stands on the base. As shown, the base 11 has an inlet compartment, in which bus bars 13 are connected to the supply, and an outlet compartment containing plugs 3 supported on insulators 15, the partition wall being provided with insulators 14. The inlet compartment also contains fuses, Fig. 6 (not shown), is fitted with cable entry boxes and has a lid 5. The cabinet 2 stands on the outlet compartment and a gasket seals the joint. The base may rest on the ground and with the cabinet 2, may support a pole, Fig 9 (not shown), with a collar 25 from which the branch cables may be suspended.
