Abstract
1,033,124. Engine cooling systems. LINDE A.G. July 15, 1964 [July 27, 1963], No. 29288/64. Heading F1B. A cooling water radiator 8 is mounted on the engine at one side of the cylinders 3 to form with the cylinders an air duct between the fan 7 and the radiator, the duct being closed by plates 12. The radiator may be parallel to the crankshaft or inclined thereto and may be inclined towards or away from the cylinder heads 4. The outer edge of the cooler is approximately the same distance from a vertical plane through the crankshaft as the outermost parts 5, 6 of the cylinder block.
