Abstract

1,029,586. Moulded buildings; moulds for complete buildings. MING-YANG CHANG. Oct. 9, 1964, No. 41408/64. Headings E1A and E1S. A building is constructed from a mould 3 disposed within a removable envelope 1 so as to define therewith sealed compartments such as 15, 16 for receiving compressed air, the pressure of which is controlled in the various compartments so that a semi-liquid settable or curable material injected into the mould will produce a unit having vertical walls and at least one horizontal ceiling. The mould is provided with door- and windowframes as necessary sealed by suitable membranes which are removed prior to fixing the door &c. The base 2 may consist of concrete or a flexible jacket filled therewith. The mould may also incorporate all necessary partitions and fixtures. The invention may be applied to a multi-storey building having a domed roof and a ceiling reinforced by a prefabricated beam, see Figs. 4, 5 and 6 (not shown).
