Abstract
1,028,667. Projectors; slide changing apparatus. GNOME PHOTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTS Ltd. March 1,1963 [March 1,1962], No. 7948/62. Heading G2J. A slide projector has manually operated slide changing apparatus comprising openings 2 in opposite sides 3 of casing 1 into which can enter a curved slide carrier 4 between nylon guide tracks 7, 8, the carrier having at each end, open pockets to receive a slide, so that while one slide is at the projection position, another slide 5<SP>1</SP> may be inserted into or withdrawn from the pocket protruding from the casing 1. Pin 14 is held by bracket 15 secured to carrier 4 and is engaged by slot 13 in arm 12 which is swung horizontally about its pivot 10 as lever 9 is manually actuated to move carrier 4 to either of its two projection positions. Carrier 4 is placed centrally within and is enclosed by the casing of the projector during transport or storage.
