Abdominal belts; socks; gloves; padding; medicated wearing-apparel.- As a protection from frost-bite, mittens, socks, or belts are made of an outer closely-woven layer A, a cotton-wool lining B, and a thin lining C, both linings being impregnated with thermogenetic material, such as capsicum or methylsalicylate. The figure shows a cross-section of a mitten.
