Abstract

[Also in Divisions B8 and G1] In a concrete batching plant a cylindrical weigh container is, at a predetermined weight, moved on rollers 21 running on rails 19 in a flame 14 by a cable line 33, from a lower aggregate filling position I below a trap 4I, to a position II (as shown with broken line Fig. 2). During its travel the container 23 is given a rolling motion by means of mangle gearing 27 meshing with shafts 28, so that when it reaches the uppermost portion II the container opening 25 is directed downwards enabling discharge into a mixer/elevator container 38 (not described). Cement is then discharged through a chute 62 into the mixer/elevator container.
