Abstract

102,228. Albion Motor Car Co., and Murray, T. B. June 30, 1916. Channels and reservoirs in pistons.-Lubricating- oil passes from the exterior of a piston by means of a groove and communicating-passages to the gudgeon-pin bearing. In the construction shown, the groove communicates by a tube E and an aperture G therein with an aperture H in the end of the connecting-rod. In a modification, the groove communicates with a slot in the gudgeonpin by passages in the bosses carrying the gudgeonpin.
