[Also in Division H3] A circuit arrangement for flashing a warning light R4 comprises two transistors arranged to charge and discharge a capacitor, the charge or discharge path of the capacitor including the lamp. Transistor T1 conducts until capacitor C becomes charged through the base emitter path of transistor T1 and the lamp R4, reducing the base current sufficiently for T1 to cut off. The change in its collector potential switches transistor T2 on so that capacitor C discharges and charges in the reverse direction through the collector-emitter path of transistor T2 and resistor R3. This causes the base of transistor T1 to go negative until the transistor T1 again conducts and the cycle repeats. The arrangement may be used for flashing a warning light on a vehicle.
