Abstract

1,017,304. Film feed for photographic cameras. AGFA, A.G. March 4, 1963 [March 2, 1962], No. 8566/63. Heading G2A. A photographic camera having a reversible motor for film advance and rewind has means for changing from rewind to film advance actuated by operation of a moveable portion of the camera body giving access to the film compartment of the camera. In the embodiment shown the film in camera 1 is advance by motor 2 when contacts 4a, 4b, 4d, 4e are closed and rewound when contacts 4b, 4c, 4e, 4f are closed in known manner, contacts 4e, 4b being connected by an insulating strip 5 and spring urged into the film advance position. Strip 5 is coupled by a lever 7 pivoted at 6 to a two armed lever 8 pivoted at 9 so that when lever 8 is rotated by means of finger piece 8b the contacts are moved to the film rewind position. A two arm lever 11 is spring urged towards arm 8c to rotate lever 8 into the film advance position but is normally held away from lever 8 by the removable camera back against which it bears. A doubleexposure preventing latch is controlled by lever 7 through pivoted lever 14.
