Abstract

1,016,428. Electrophotographic processes. FUJI SHASHIN FILM KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Nov. 25, 1963 [Nov.24, 1962], No. 46555/63, Heading G2H. [Also in Division H1] A sand-blasted steel plate is coated with a photoconductive composition, exposed to a negative original, and subsequently developed electrolytically using a solution consisting of 1 part silver nitrate, 1. 35 parts thiomen, 4 parts acetamide, and water to give a total of 100 parts. The steel plate is made the cathode and a potential of 10V applied between it and a sponge roller wetted with the developer and acting as the anode. The process is used in the ship-building industry for marking out metal-plates.
