Abstract

Melting-pot furnaces.-Apparatus for use in coating wire comprises a melting-pot 1 provided with a cover 3 and heated by gas or oil burners 17 mounted on an equalizing-chamber 18. The gas supply is controlled by a thermostat 20 depending into the metal bath, and the combustion products pass through pipes 23 to the cover 3. Specification 13224/15 is referred to.
