Abstract

1,014,479. Screwing-up. RHEINSTAHL HUTTENWERKE A.G. Nov. 18, 1964 [Nov. 27, 1963], No. 47004/64. Heading B3N. [Also in Divisions F2] In an arrangement for tensioning a bolt 4 (see Division F2) for facilitating tightening or slackening of its nut 13, the nut is adjusted from a distance by a device 14 having a bar several yards in length and with a pinion at its end for engaging teeth on the nut when the end of the device is received in a socket 16. There is a ring of bolts 4 for securing the cover-plate 2 of a pressure vessel and there is a device 14 as well as a tensioning unit adjacent each bolt.
