A section trimming or sealing strip moulded or extruded from, e.g. P.V.C. initially in the flat form shown then bent into the U-shape, incorporates a metal or other stiffening member 2 which may be of zig-zag wire or zig-zag slotted sheet, and inwardly directed ribs 6 for frictionally engaging a supporting flange which the strip straddles, the strip being formed with a recess 3 in its outer surface containing a flocked pile 4, woven worsted or cut moquette material. The recess may contain polyurethane foam carrying the covering material. The mouldable material may contain silver etc; in the mix. The strip may incorporate a draught or weather sealing portion.
