1010861 Heater/lighting units J PROSVIC 3 Jan 1964 [9 April 1963 16 July 1963 22 Aug 1963 16 Oct 1963] 14124/62 28102/63 33233/63 and 40812/63 Headings F4W W45D and W45E1 A heater/lighting unit comprises a dish-shaped housing 1 provided at its centre with a lamp-holder 2 and carrying on three stand-off spacers 4 a channelled reflector 3 in which is mounted a heating element 17 with a protective grille 22. The heating element comprises a coil resistance wire in a ring-shaped silica tube. Alternatively, Fig. 4, a ring-shaped tubular fluorescent lamp 115 may be mounted in the channelled reflector and a heating element 117 mounted in a dished reflector 153 carried by a stand-off spacer 154 at the centre of the unit.
