Abstract

1,010,789. Double windows; hinges. V. KANN RASMUSSEN & CO. June 25, 1963 [June 28, 1962], No. 25185/63. Headings E1J and E2F. A window comprises an inner sash 2 which may be fixed, or pivotable about a horizontal axis, together with an outer sash 4, top-, (as shown), or side-hinged to the sash 2, and carrying a venetian or roller blind 5. The outer sash 4 may be raised by a rod 9 which is pivoted to an arm itself pivotally attached to the outer sash 4. When the outer sash 4 is closed, and the inner sash 2 is reversed so that the outer sash is inside the inner sash, left-off hinges 8 can be disconnected and the sash 4 may pivot about its junction with the rod 9.
