Abstract
1,006,960. Garage doors. E. KOLLER. Sept. 18, 1963, No. 36718/63. Heading E1J. A garage door frame 1 extends into the door opening and supports a door, or doors, 10, 11 smaller than the opening, the space between the door edges and the frame being bridged by a sealing strip 22. The frame 1 is of unequal flange angle to which are pivoted ports 2, 3 having arms 6, 7, 8, 9 on which the doors are rotatably mounted; the doors being further located by rollers 16, 17 engaging a track 18 welded to the frame flange 1a. A resilient sealing strip 22 extends round each door and bridges the gap between the frame and the doors when the latter are closed. The sealing strip may alternatively be of thin foils or bristles.
