A rotary feeding valve for granular &c. material has resiliently supported vanes 10, Fig. 1, of T-section mounted on the radial arms 9 and bedded partially into and over resilient members 11. The arrangement takes up wear in the housing and inhibits the passage of material into the regions where the vanes 10 move radially within the arms 9.
