Abstract
1,002,832. Lined &c. metal pipes &c. SOC. LE CARBONE-LORRAINE. March 11, 1963 [March 15, 1962], No. 9541/63. Heading F2P. [Also in Division B6] A method of protecting articles and apparatus such as tanks, vats, pipes, absorption towers or heat-exchangers, consists in lining or coating the articles with ion-tight, corrosion resistant, mouldable sheets of polytetrafluoroethylene which are non-adherent to the surfaces of the articles to be protected but closely conforms to the shape thereof, the sheets being welded together at the assembly points thereof in an impervious manner.
