Abstract
<PICT:1000859/C6-C7/1> A plating jig consists of a U-shaped form 10 secured to a vertical spine 11, both made of stainless steel, the form supporting the workpieces at its free ends, being surrounded by tube or a coil of wire 12 of better conductivity than stainless steel, and is secured to the spine by brazing. The wire may be copper, brass, or phosphor bronze and is tightly wound in contact with the form, individual turns being spaced 0.001-0.5 inch. The device may be coated with plastic material, e.g. plasticized polythene or P.V.C.
