Abstract
A signal transmitter (11) communicates with a portable receiver (12) for implementing a keyless entry procedure. The signal transmitter includes output terminals which are connected to corresponding connection points (P1-P5) on the vehicle body through wire conductors (1-5), wherein a portion of the vehicle body which extends between both corresponding connection points (P1 P2) on the vehicle body and two wire conductors (1, 2) connected thereto form a loop which surrounds at least a portion of the vehicle interior space, as seen in projection. A loop antenna is connected to the signal transmitter by two wire conductors (1, 2) which are twisted together along a portion of their length (22) down to a branching point (B2) where the two wire conductors separate from one another in order to form at least a portion of said loop antenna. <IMAGE>
