Abstract
Un procédé de fusion de métal non-ferreux au moyen d’au moins un thermoplongeur électrique, dans lequel :- au moins un thermoplongeur électrique est mis au contact ou dans l’immédiate proximité de métal non ferreux à l’état solide disposé dans une cuve, - lors d’une étape dite d’amorçage, une puissance électrique dite initiale correspondant à une fraction de la puissance nominale dudit thermoplongeur électrique est fournie audit thermoplongeur électrique et- lors d’une étape dite de fusion, la puissance électrique fournie audit thermoplongeur électrique est augmentée progressivement ou par paliers,de sorte que le métal non ferreux présent dans la cuve passe d’un état solide à un état liquide sans apport significatif d’autres sources de chaleur que l’au moins un thermoplongeur électrique. Un dispositif de fusion pour la mise en œuvre dudit procédé et une unité de production comportant un tel dispositif. Figure pour l'abrégé : [Fig 1]
