Périphérique informatique destiné à apporter à un écran d’affichage des capacités de pointage et de sélection de fonctionnalités mettant en œuvre des barrettes de détection infrarouge de la position d’un objet produisant un décalage d’intensité dans l’infrarouge, caractérisé en ce qu’il est constitué par un cadre destiné à être placé en avant d’un écran d’affichage et présentant une fenêtre dont un des bords au moins comporte une première barrette de détection infrarouge définissant un premier plan de détection parallèle au plan transversal frontal de ladite fenêtre et une deuxième barrette de détection infrarouge définissant plan de détection parallèle au plan transversal distal de ladite fenêtre, la distance entre ledit plan frontal et ledit plan distal étant compris entre 5 et 50 mm, ledit cadre comportant en outre une série de transducteur ultrason émettant un plan d’énergie vibratoire correspondant audit plan distal, ledit cadre comportant en outre sur chaque bord un réseau de sources lumineuses émettant dans le spectre visible selon un premier mode en fonction d’un signal de pointage , et selon un second mode en cas de sélection.
